Wedding Shower

Well here is the first of three blogs to post. So much had been going on lately that I wasn't sure how far to go back. So I decided to start with my future SIL wedding shower. Fantastic turn out, it
wasn't your typical shower where you have finger foods, and little pastries etc. This turned out to be a sit down meal, April's mom thought it would be a good idea to do this because April and Brad were having a destination wedding and not everyone could make it.
Sabrina and I
made our way to Wainfleet and got there around 11am. No rest, we dove right in to start preparing everything. I ended being in control of washing a peeling 4 bags of potato's. That's right 40 POUNDS of potato's washed and peeled by hand. I agree a little sore when I was done. But those scallop potato's were quite delish =)

April had asked me to make paper bag lanterns for the shower, I'll b
e honest I had no idea what she was talking about until I googled it. Thank God for Google. My mom was a dear and came over to give me a hand, she did the top of the lanterns while I had cut out the design. Must say I wasn't too keen on making these, wasn't sure what all entailed on making them. But actually it's quite simple, it's up to you on the difficulty of the design you want to make.

After a long day of preparing food a
nd making sure the guests had everything they needed. The day had come to an end. But it was all worth it.
Love you girls xoxo
