Done, Finished, No more

OMG!!!!! I can finally say I am done school. I don't want to toot my own horn, but I have never been so proud of myself for accomplishing this. It was 4 long years ago when I decided I wanted to go back to school, for what thought? I had no idea what I could see myself doing day in and day out AND love it. My BFF kept talking about how she wanted to "be the person that takes your blood" well for some reason that peaked my interest. So I went to the Mohawk website to see if they happen to offer a course for that. And low and behold they did- Medical Laboratory Technician/Assistant, quite the mouthful isn't it? So I filled out the application, got my transcript from high school and off to the information seminar I went. When the seminar was over I went up to Mary GB(director of the program) and handed her my application. Before she even looked at it to see who I was she looked at me and "Lisa I happy to say that you are accepted into the program". WHAT?? How did she know who I was? Then the light cam on, I hounded her with emails about the program and the job prospects and this and that....and so on. I must've emailed her enough that if she accepted me I would stop emailing her..lol.

I know this is probably a little childish maybe completely childish but now I want to go to Mohawk and order a hoodie with the name of the program across the front. I wanted to do this earlier but I didn't want to jinx it in case for some reason I never finish school.

Well I am off running a little late for work, but I am on CLOUD 9!!!
